Hollywood film 'Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire', released this Friday, has earned well at the Indian box office on the first day. The film did a business of Rs 14 crore 50 lakh on its opening day. With this, it has become one of the Hollywood films to get a big opening in the country.

'Godzilla X Kong' is the sequel to the film 'Godzilla vs. Kong' released in 2021. It is the 5th film in the MonsterVerse franchise, the 38th film in the Godzilla franchise, and the 13th film in the King Kong franchise.

Left behind 'Mission Impossible 7' and 'Fast X'
The film has also left behind Tom Cruise's 'Mission Impossible 7' and Vin Diesel's 'Fast X'. While 'Mission Impossible 7' earned Rs 12.50 crore on the first day in India, 'Fast X' earned Rs 13 crore on the opening day.

The English version of the film earned Rs 6 crore 50 lakh and the Hindi version earned Rs 4 crore. Whereas Telugu and Tamil versions together collected Rs 4 crore.

'Aadujeevitam' earned crores in two days
Apart from this, Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer 'Aadujeevitam: The Goat Life', which earned Rs 7 crore 60 lakh on the opening day on Thursday, did a business of Rs 6 crore 25 lakh on the second day. On the second day, the Malayalam version of the film earned Rs 5 crore 25 lakh, the Kannada version earned Rs 5 lakh, the Tamil version earned Rs 55 lakh, the Telugu version earned Rs 35 lakh and the Hindi version earned Rs 7 lakh.

Prithviraj is seen in three different looks in this film.

Now the total earning of this film has reached Rs 13 crore 85 lakh. It has collected the highest collection of Rs 11.80 crore from the Malayalam version.

World wide 'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar' earned 16.67 crores
Between these two films, Randeep Hooda starrer film 'Swatantrya Veer Savarkar' collected only Rs 1 crore 10 lakh on the second Friday. The total Indian collection of the film is Rs 12 crore 47 lakh and worldwide collection is Rs 16 crore 67 lakh. Earlier in the first week, this film had earned Rs 11 crore 37 lakh across the country.

'Madgaon Express' earned Rs 1.03 crore on second Friday
Meanwhile, Kunal Khemu's film 'Madgaon Express' earned Rs 1 crore 3 lakh on the second Friday. The film has so far earned Rs 14 crore 88 lakh across the country.

Shaitan's earnings cross Rs 195 crore
Amidst all these films, Shaitan is slowly moving towards joining the worldwide Rs 200 crore club. Ajay Devgan's film has so far earned Rs 195.72 crore worldwide and Rs 137.72 crore nationwide.
