Former cricketer Rohit Sharma passed away, breathed his last in Jaipur leader









Leaders Online Desk: There is a bad news for cricket fans. Former Rajasthan Ranji all-rounder Rohit Sharma (age 40) has passed away. He was ill for the past few days. He is being treated in Jaipur. However, he breathed his last on Saturday. The news of his demise has left the Rajasthan cricket world in mourning.

Rajasthan Cricket Association Secretary Bhawani Shankar Samota said, 'Rohit Sharma was an all-rounder. He was known for his fast batting. Also used to bowl leg spin, which was useful for the team many times. Rohit Sharma represented Rajasthan in Ranji Trophy, First Class and other formats. He started his first-class cricket journey in 2004, which ended in 2009. After that he continued to play 'A' grade matches. He also played 7 Ranji matches, 28 ODIs and four T20Is for Rajasthan. He was running his own cricket academy named RS in Jaipur, Rajasthan.'
