Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the Indian National Ocean Information Services Center has warned of high waves on the Kerala coast. He urged fishermen and coastal residents to exercise caution. Officials also said the situation was abnormal in the coastal areas of Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Alappuzha, Thrissur districts.
