Delhi liquor scam: Manish Sisodia surrenders to ED, CBI; Bail petition withdrawn









Leader Online Desk: Former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, AAP leader Manish Sisodia has been arrested by the ED as an accused in the money laundering case related to the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam. Meanwhile, he had applied for interim bail to Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court. In this, he had said that a surety is required to campaign for the party in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Even before the court decided on the petition, Sisodia withdrew his campaign petition. The news in this regard has been given by ANI. (Delhi liquor scam)

Hearing on regular bail application on April 30

CBI has opposed Manish Sisodia's regular bail application. The CBI argued in the court that he should not be granted bail as he was called the mastermind in the case. Meanwhile, the bail application of Manish Sisodia, who is seeking regular bail in the CBI and ED cases related to Delhi Excise Policy, was heard in the Rouse Avenue court today. Meanwhile, Special Judge Kaveri Baweja's court has reserved its decision on Manish Sisodia's regular bail application. The court will pass the order on April 30. (Delhi liquor scam)
