Shivam Dubey also batted aggressively and returned unbeaten after scoring 39 runs off 20 balls with the help of one four and four sixes. Dhoni also remained unbeaten after scoring five runs off two balls with the help of a four. Gaikwad and Mitchell helped CSK build a strong score. With this, CSK became the team to score more than 200 runs in T20s. CSK scored more than 200 runs for the 35th time in T20 cricket and in this case surpassed English county club Somerset, who have scored more than 200 runs in T20s 34 times.
