WPI Inflation | Wholesale inflation rate hits 13-month high in April









Leaders Online Desk: India's wholesale price index-based inflation rose to 1.26 percent in April. Which was marginally increased to 0.53 percent in March. Overall, wholesale inflation remained at a 13-month high in April. Statistics in this regard have been released by the Ministry of Commerce on Tuesday. The wholesale inflation rate was 0.20 percent in February. It is grown in April.

Onion wholesale rate increased by 59.75 percent in April. It had increased by 56.99 percent in March. Along with this, the wholesale inflation of potato increased by 71.97 percent in April. which had increased by 52.96 percent in March. The rate of wholesale food inflation rose to 5.52 percent on annual basis after rising 4.7 percent in March.
