BJP's move towards establishment of power in Odisha









Leader Online Desk : The Bharatiya Janata Party has taken a decisive lead in the Odisha Assembly elections which were held along with the Lok Sabha elections. According to the information given by the Central Election Commission, out of the total 147 seats in the Odisha Legislative Assembly, the BJP has taken the lead in 76 seats in the counting till 2.30 pm. The ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is leading in only 53 seats in the state.

Eight ministers in the Patnaik government are behind

Naveen Patnaik-led incumbent Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is likely to face a major blow in the Odisha assembly elections. BJP has taken lead in 76 seats. According to the latest information, at least eight ministers in Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik's cabinet are currently behind their opponents.
