In the earlier hearing on May 7, the Supreme Court had indicated to grant interim bail to Kejriwal to enable him to campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. After that today (10th) the Supreme Court has given him a big relief in the background of the Lok Sabha campaign. Polling for the fifth phase of the Lok Sabha elections in Delhi is being held on May 25. Meanwhile, Kejriwal will be able to campaign for Aam Aadmi Party candidates. This is being considered as a big relief to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and himself. Arvind Kejriwal is currently in Tihar Jail after he was arrested by the ED on March 21 in a money laundering case related to the Delhi Excise Policy.
Kejriwal is the main mastermind in the ED charge sheet
The ED will name Kejriwal as the mastermind in its charge sheet. The Enforcement Directorate claims to have traced a money trail linked to Arvind Kejriwal. Kejriwal's interim bail will also be heard in the Supreme Court tomorrow (May 10).
