Arvind Kejriwal granted bail on 'these' six conditions









Leader Online Desk: Supreme Court granted interim bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal till June 1. He was arrested on March 21 after receiving nine summons from the Enforcement Directorate. After that he was in ED custody for 50 days. He was finally granted bail on Friday (10th). But while granting bail, the Supreme Court has imposed certain conditions on them, which they have to follow.

Supreme Court's 'Six' Terms

  • Arvind Kejriwal will have to surrender and return to jail on June 2.
  • They will have to pay a fine of Rs.
  • Kejriwal would not be able to comment on his role in the money laundering case related to the excise policy scam.
  • He will have to abide by his statement that he will not sign any official file unless the matter is urgent enough to get approval from the Lt. Governor.
  • Kejriwal will not go to Chief Minister's Office and Delhi Secretariat.
  • They will not be able to speak to any witnesses and see official documents related to the case.
