Anupam Kher became emotional on not having children of his own: Said- I miss children, I would have been happier if I had raised them.

Anupam Kher married actress Kirron Kher in the year 1985. The love life of both was much discussed. Recently Anupam talked about his personal life. He said even though he gave his name to wife Kirron Kher's son Sikandar Kher. But, they sometimes miss their children.

Actually, in a podcast, Anupam Kher was asked whether he misses not having children of his own? To this Anupam said, of course, I miss not having children of my own. This did not happen earlier, but for the last 8-10 years I have been feeling lonely. I am very happy with Sikandar. But if I had seen my children grow from small to big then perhaps that happiness would have been different. I am saying this honestly. This is not a tragedy in my life.

Anupam Kher further said, 'I have been busy most of the time in my life, but now at the age of 50-55, I felt an emptiness. This also happened because Kiran and Sikandar were busy in their respective lives.

Let us tell you, Anupam married his first wife Madhumalati and Kiran in 1985 after divorcing her first husband businessman Gautam Barry. When both of them got married, Kiran's son Sikandar was four years old.
