South superstar Allu Arjun is in the news these days for his most awaited film 'Pushpa 2'. Meanwhile, the debate about South vs Bollywood has started once again. When director Nikhil Advani revealed one thing about Allu Arjun, he said that the actor believes that there is a lack of heroism in Bollywood now.

Nikhil Advani told Galata Plus in an interview that Allu Arjun had once told what he sees as the biggest shortcoming in Bollywood. He had said that you all have forgotten how to become a hero. Whereas South Indian films have understood the core emotion of heroism very closely and have been successful in capitalizing on it.

Nikhil Advani said- Earlier such films were made in Bollywood. Amitabh Bachchan's 'Kalia' and 'Coolie' are examples of this. Amitabh Bachchan's character in those films was 'larger than life'. But now people have forgotten how to make such films. Whereas South films have deeply understood the feelings of heroism and have been successful in portraying them correctly. In South films, all issues are presented with great action and the image of the hero, which the audience likes a lot.

Last year, hit films like 'Jawaan', 'Gadar 2' and 'Animal' ruled Bollywood. But this year, no film has been successful at the box office so far. This year, the South film 'Kalki 2898 AD' has become the highest grossing film so far. Allu Arjun's film 'Pushpa 2' is going to be released on 6 December this year.
