Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar will not be able to attend the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. According to media reports, he has become Covid positive. Anant-Radhika had personally invited Akshay to attend the wedding but the actor has isolated himself so he will not be able to attend this wedding. Akshay had attended Anant-Radhika's first pre-wedding function in Jamnagar in March this year.
According to sources, Akshay's health deteriorated a bit during the promotion of the film 'Sarfira'. Actually, during the promotion of the film, a crew member got infected with Covid 19, after which Akshay also fell ill. He was found to be Covid positive on Friday morning.
Akshay Kumar is 56 years old.
Akshay was also Covid positive in 2021-22
Earlier in 2022, Akshay also got corona when he was shooting for the film 'Ram Setu'. During this time, apart from Akshay, the rest of the crew members were also found to be Covid positive.
In 2021 too, Akshay had tested Covid positive but he recovered quickly. During that time, Akshay had donated 25 crores to the PM Care Fund and became the first celeb to do so.

Akshay's film 'Sarfira' has been released on 12th July. This film is based on the life of South based businessman G.R.Gopinath in which Akshay is in the lead role. G.R.Gopinath started the first cheap airline in the country. A film named 'Soorarai Pottru' has already been made on this in the South. This Surya starrer film also received a National Award.
