Rakesh, father of actress Aashika Bhatia, who was seen in Salman Khan's film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, has passed away. After the death of her father on November 25, the actress gave this information by posting his picture. In the post made for her father, Aashika has emotionally apologized to him.
Ashika shared her father's picture in the story section of her Instagram and wrote, Forgive me, may your soul rest in peace. At present the exact cause of Rajesh Bhatia's death has not been revealed.
The parents' fight had reached the court
Aashika's father Rajesh was a local businessman from Surat city of Gujarat. While his mother Meenu Bhatia used to run a salon. Ashika was very young when her parents got divorced. After the separation of the parents, the mother got the custody of Ashika and her younger brother Dev Bhatia, but she used to meet her father often. After the divorce, Ashika's mother Meenu had filed a case demanding maintenance for the children. During a hearing, she had said that Rakesh used to exploit her, due to which she had taken divorce.
Rakesh's allegations were that Meenu was demanding allowance for a luxury life, whereas she herself runs a salon and has no financial problems. The court ruled in favor of Rakesh saying that Aashika herself earns from acting, while Meenu has her own salon.
Let us tell you that Ashika Bhatia started her acting career at the age of just 10 as a child artist with the TV show Meera. After this, she has been a part of the show Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi. In the year 2015, she was seen in the film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. In this film she played the role of Salman Khan's sister. Aashika has also participated in the reality show Bigg Boss OTT 2 as a wild card contestant.
Aashika's life has always been in discussion. Aashika had gained recognition across the country with her TikTok videos. During this time, she had a relationship with musical star Satwik. However, both of them broke up in 2019. After this, Aashika's name was linked to Rosh Gupta, although both separated in 2021.
