Junaid Khan has recently made his acting debut with the film 'Maharaj'. Now in an interview, the actor talked about his father Aamir Khan's retirement phase.
Junaid told that Aamir wanted him to take over the responsibility of his production house. Now Junaid is producing 'Pritam Pyare' under his family banner.

In an interview to Times of India, Junaid said, 'I have spent a lot of time behind the camera on film sets. I also worked on the sets of my father's film 'PK'. I have also assisted in some ad shoots.
After the shooting of 'Maharaj' was completed, a film of Aamir Khan Productions was in development. At that time Kiran Rao was also busy shooting for 'Laapata Ladies' and Papa was in his 'retirement phase'.
Recently, Aamir hosted a success party for the team of this film.
I came into production at the behest of my father
Junaid further said- 'Papa jokingly told me one day that I am retiring now, so why don't you take over my work?' This was the moment when I stepped into production. I think I have a good understanding of this field. This is a very difficult part of filmmaking.'
In his next film, Junaid will be seen opposite South superstar Sai Pallvi.
On the work front, Junaid has recently completed the shooting of his next film 'Ek Din' with Sai Pallavi. This film is also made under Aamir Khan's banner. Apart from this love story, he is also busy shooting for 'Loveyaapa'.
