Aadhaar ATM service means Aadhaar enabled payment service. With the help of this Aadhaar ATM service, banking services are provided using biometrics of the account holder. This payment service means home withdrawal facility. To use it you first need to link your bank account with Aadhaar number.
Aadhaar linked bank account customer's biometric details enable them to access basic banking services like cash withdrawal, balance enquiry, cash withdrawal, mini statement etc. at their home. Not only this, but with the help of this service you can transfer money from Aadhaar to Aadhaar. If you have linked multiple bank accounts with your Aadhaar number, you have to select the bank account from which you want to withdraw money at the time of transaction. You can make cash transactions up to Rs 10,000 through this service.
You don't have to pay any charges to get cash delivered to your home through India Post Payments Bank; But the bank will charge you for door step service. To use this service one has to visit the official website of IPPB.
Select the door step option there. Fill the details like your name, mobile number, e-mail id, address, pincode. Enter the name of the bank where your account is held. Click on 'I Agree' and submit. After some time the postman will bring the cash to your home.
