Young man beaten to death for applying Hanuman Chalisa during Azan, incident in Bangalore | leader









Leaders Online Desk: A case of beating up a shopkeeper has come to light from Bangalore. A gang thrashed a shopkeeper for offering Hanuman Chalisa during Azaan. The complaint said that some people came to stop this devotional song and started beating them. The injured shopkeeper has been admitted to the hospital for treatment and the police have registered a case against the accused. The incident took place in Bangalore's Nagarathpet.

According to information received, this incident took place in Bangalore's Nagarathpeth area. After much protest by the local shopkeepers, an FIR was registered at the Halasuru Gate PS Police Station in Bangalore. Police have registered a case against Suleman, Shahnawaz, Rohit, Danish and Tarun. The victim himself Mukesh owns a mobile shop in Nagarathpet. Adjacent to it is a prayer center. It is reported in the complaint that the incident took place around 6.30 pm. At this time, he asked to stop the devotional song in the shop and the argument started from that. During the argument, the gang beat up the shopkeeper. A young shopkeeper was injured in this.

Speaking to news agency ANI, the victim said, 'I had put Hanuman Chalisa on the speakers in the shop at 6 pm. At this time some people asked me to stop Hanuman Chalisa. When I refused them, they argued and started beating me.' He knows 2 to 3 of the gang that attacked.

'Hindus are being threatened openly'

BJP in Karnataka has reacted to this incident by writing a post on 'X'. It is written that, “Karnataka has to pay the price of Congress' appeasement politics. Radical extremist elements have occupied the streets. Hindus are being threatened openly. Ever since the Congress came to power, Karnataka has been dominated by theism.”
