KGF star Yash will produce Nitesh Tiwari's film Ramayana. He has joined hands with Namit Malhotra, owner of Prime Focus Studios. Obviously Yash was earlier associated with the film as an actor. Yash said that his long-time goal has been to make films that showcase Indian cinema on a global level.

Yash said that he has discussed the VFX of the film with Namit. Namit assured him that this film is going to be very rich visually. Let us tell you that Namit is also the Global CEO of multiple Academy Award winning visual effects company DNEG.

Yash said- I was in talks with a VFX studio in Los Angeles. I was very surprised to know that the person running that VFX studio is an Indian (Namit Malhotra). Namit and I talked about many ideas. The film Ramayana was also discussed in the conversation. It was revealed that Namit Malhotra is already associated with this film. I have been very connected with Ramayana. Thinking this, I took up the responsibility of co-producing the film.

Yash basically does Kannada language films. He got global recognition due to both the KGF films.

Shooting of the film started, photos were leaked from the set
Recently, some pictures related to the shooting of Ramayana had gone viral. Arun Govil was seen in the role of Ram in the pictures. Whereas Lara Dutta was seen in the role of Kaikeyi. According to a report in Pinkvilla, the set of Gurukul has been ready in Film City.

Here, in the first schedule of the film, child artists playing the childhood roles of Ram, Lakshman and Bharat are shooting. Actor Shishir Sharma will be seen in the role of Guru Vashishtha in it. Soon Ranbir Kapoor will also start shooting for this film.

Ranbir will be seen in the role of Lord Ram in this film. Ranbir is taking voice and diction training to properly film the expressions and language style of Lord Ram. Sai Pallavi will be seen in the role of Sita.
