Bollywood actress Yami Gautam is in the last stages of pregnancy these days. She will give birth to her first child in May. These days Yami is reading Ramayana and Amar Chitra Katha before delivery.
Talking to Hindustan Times, Yami said, 'Husband Aditya Dhar has brought me to read Ramayana and Amar Chitra Katha. My mother also read these books during her pregnancy. Apart from this, I am listening to the songs of music legend MS Subbulakshmi.
All the wedding rituals were performed in Yami's hometown Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh.
Aditya takes great care
Yami also said that Aditya takes great care of her during pregnancy. He is very happy. Yami said- 'Aditya keeps asking me all day long what I feel like eating. What do I feel like doing? He always brings me such things which make me happy.
Yami said in the interview that her family has come to Mumbai and soon her sister Surili will also reach Mumbai.
Yami said, 'We are from a traditional family. There is no trend of making baby's nursery here. Of course, some adjustments will have to be made in the house for the baby, but when the baby grows up and starts jumping around in the house, we will get the house renovated accordingly. My sister, who is herself a mother of a child, told me that this is the best phase of life. There are definitely some challenges but when we become parents we will learn everything. We are all very happy.
Yami gave good news in February
Yami Gautam and her husband filmmaker Aditya Dhar had given confirmation of pregnancy at the trailer launch event of the film 'Article 370' in February this year.
Aditya Dhar had said- This film is a family affair. We got this good news during the making of the film. Yami's baby bump was visible at this event.
Yami married filmmaker Aditya Dhar on June 4, 2021. Their love started on the sets of 'Uri-The Surgical Strike'. They got married after dating each other for about two years.
'Article 370' is one of the biggest hit films of the year.
Yami was seen in 'Article 370'
Yami has given a hit film in 2024. On February 23, his film 'Article 370' was released which earned Rs 110 crore.
In the year 2012, Yami made her Bollywood debut with 'Vicky Donor'. He has also worked in films like 'Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga', 'Uri', 'A Thursday', 'Bala' and 'OMG 2'.
