Those born between 1981 and 1996 are called the Millennial Generation, also known as Generation Y (Y). The generation born between 1997 and 2012 is called Generation Z.
According to data from the Project Management Institute, 44 percent of companies in India have now adopted a hybrid approach to work. 10 percent of companies work remotely. Despite this, Millennial women (14.4 percent) increasingly prefer working remotely, the report said.
Rituparna Chakrabroti said that millennial women, who want to maintain a work-life balance, and want more flexibility, are more inclined towards remote jobs. Rituparna is the co-founder of Teamlis Services.
What is special is that the women of Generation Z (Z) have preferred work from office i.e. onsite setting. Generation Z accounts for 69 percent of women working onsite. This is because women in Generation Z have just started their careers, networking, learning in the office, social interaction are important to them.
