Leaders Online Desk: The United Nations World Meteorological Organization (WMO) has issued a red alert regarding global warming. The organization has recently released a report. The report also notes unprecedented increases in greenhouse gases, land and water temperatures, and melting of glaciers and sea ice in 2023.

Heat has broken all records in 2023. The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) released its annual climate status report on Tuesday. 2023 is predicted to be the hottest year on record. While the period from 2014 to 2023 has been recorded as the warmest decade. During these 10 years the oceans were affected by heat waves. The glaciers also suffered a record loss of ice.
