Will you contest elections from Amethi? Rahul Gandhi said, “Congress President…” | leader

Leader Online Desk: Will he contest from the Amethi constituency in Uttar Pradesh, which was once known as the stronghold of the Congress party? Rahul Gandhi answered this question today (17th). There is a possibility that Rahul Gandhi, who has been nominated again by the Congress from Wayanad in Kerala, may also contest from Amethi. He presented his position in a joint press conference with Akhilesh Yadav today (17th) in Uttar Pradesh.

At this time, Rahul Gandhi said, “The Central Election Committee (CEC) of the Congress party takes decisions regarding the elections. I follow these decisions. I will do whatever the Central Election Committee of the Congress Party and the Congress President ask me to do in this regard.”

It is being speculated that Rahul Gandhi, who has been re-nominated by the Congress from Kerala's Wayanad, may also contest from Amethi. Rahul Gandhi has won the Amethi seat three times in a row since 2004. Smriti Irani had won this seat in 2019 with 55 thousand votes. This year too, BJP has again nominated Smriti Irani from this constituency, while Congress has not yet announced the name of its candidate.

BJP will not get 150 seats: Rahul Gandhi

Prime Minister does not talk about real issues. Attempts are being made to destroy democracy. Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi claimed that BJP will not get even 150 seats across the country. This year's Lok Sabha election is an ideological election across the country. On one hand Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and BJP are trying to destroy the Indian constitution and democracy. On the other hand India Aghadi and Congress party are trying to save Indian constitution and democracy. Every election has 2-3 major issues. Unemployment and inflation are the first and second big issues in this year's election respectively; But the BJP is busy diverting attention elsewhere. Neither the Prime Minister nor the BJP is talking about these important issues.”
He also alleged that in the last 10 years, Prime Minister Modi has undermined the job creation system by implementing demonetisation, false GST and supporting big billionaires like Adani.

Scripted Interview with the Prime Minister

Recently an interview with Prime Minister Narendra Modi became famous. It was a scripted interview. It was a flop show. In this, the Prime Minister tried to explain electoral bonds. He claimed to have introduced the system of electoral bonds for transparency and clean politics. If this is true then why did Supreme Court strike down that system and secondly if you wanted to bring transparency then why did you hide the names of those giving money to BJP. Why did they hide the dates they paid you? Questioning this, he alleged that this was the biggest extortion scheme in the world.

Electoral bond exposes him: Akhilesh Yadav

At this time, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav said, 'BJP will be completely defeated in the Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh. The party has only given assurances so far. Farmer's income has not doubled. Youth have not got employment. Promises of development are also unfulfilled. Electoral bonds have exposed them. BJP has become a warehouse of corrupt officials.
