Why Aamir Khan does not go to award functions: Imran Khan told the reason, said – 'We do not exhibit art'

Bollywood actor Imran Khan has told why his uncle Aamir Khan does not go to award functions. Recently, when he was asked about this in an interview, he said, 'I grew up in a family where people dedicated everything to art and craft and no one got away from being a celebrity and the glamor of this place. It doesn't matter. I have also been taught to take my work seriously, dedicate everything to it and not be influenced by anything else. We do not exhibit art.

Aamir had stopped going to award functions in the 90s
Aamir had distanced himself from award functions in the 90s. Giving the reason for this in an old interview, he himself said that these commercial film awards do not mean anything to him. Recently, when Aamir had reached The Great Indian Kapil Show, Archana Puran Singh had asked Aamir why he does not go to receive the award.

In response to this, Aamir said- Because time is very precious. I think time should be utilized in the right place.

Aamir produced Imran's first film
Imran's debut film 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na', released in 2008, was also produced by uncle Aamir Khan. After this, both of them also worked together in 'Delhi Belly' released in 2011. Both these films were hits at the box office.

As a child actor, Imran was also seen in Aamir's two films 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak' and 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar'.
