Haryana

Four-way fights in Punjab

Former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and former state president of Congress Sunil Jakhar have joined BJP after joining BJP. The real fight is between Congress, BJP and Aam Aadmi Party. The Akali Dal, which won only two seats in the last election, has to fight for survival this time.
Himachal Pradesh
BJP had great success in Himachal in both the last general elections. This time once again BJP is expecting the same victory. The election in Mandi constituency here has become interesting. Former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh's wife and Congress candidate Pratibha Singh won in the by-election held in this constituency. This time his long-suffering Vikramaditya Singh is in the field. Popular actress Kangana Ranaut has been fielded by BJP against him.
This high profile fight has attracted the attention of the whole country. There are signs that this match is going to be tough. It is estimated that it will not be difficult for Union Minister Anurag Thakur to win from Hamirpur.
