South actress Kriti Shetty is busy these days promoting her film 'Ajayante Random Motionam' (ARM). The special thing about this film is that it is being released in 6 languages and in 3D.
Recently, in a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, Kriti talked about her upcoming film, co-star Tovino Thomas and upcoming projects. During this, she reacted to South superstar Vijay Sethupathi's statement where she refused to play the role opposite him. Read some key excerpts from the conversation:
About 'ARM', Kriti said, 'This is my first film which has been made in so many languages is being released. We have worked hard in dubbing so that the same feel is there in every language as in the original. Often dubbed films do not have that emotion, but we have tried to keep the original emotion in every language. This was a bit difficult, but our team did it well. From songs to every scene, special care has been taken in everything so that the impact of the film is the same everywhere.
He further said, 'When people watch a film in 3D, not only the action scenes but also the emotional and romantic scenes look even better. The characters seem closer in 3D, due to which the audience feels a greater connection. The experience of 3D is quite different. Everyone will like the action, but I think the audience will connect even more after watching the emotional and romantic scenes in 3D.'
Talking about working with Tovino Thomas in the film, Kriti said, 'Tovino sir is senior to me and this is his 50th film. Initially, I was a little nervous about how I would work in such a big film, but he made me feel very comfortable. He was very professional on the set, but whenever I needed help, he helped me. I learned a lot by working with him.'
Let us tell you, Kriti made her debut with the film 'Uppena', in which she played the role of Vijay Sethupathi's daughter. Later, Vijay revealed that he was offered a romantic role with Kriti in the film, but he turned down the role because he considers Kriti as his daughter and he did not feel right romancing with her.
About this, Kriti said, 'During the shooting, Vijay sir told me that his children are also of my age, that is, a little younger than me. He was uncomfortable in romantic scenes. He always supported me a lot and said – If you have to express any emotion, like sadness, then express it completely. Just think that I am your dad and do what you feel. Just because I am Vijay Sethupathi, you do not need to stop yourself. He gave me that space, which helped me a lot and it was a very beautiful experience for me.'
Krithi Shetty is now also working in the Tamil film industry. Her first Tamil film will be released soon. Also, she is working on many new projects.
