Sonakshi Sinha recently got married to actor and her long time boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal. Zaheer told that he and Sonakshi met for the first time at Salman Khan's house Galaxy Apartment. Both of them talked for about 5 hours on the first day. Everyone left but Zaheer and Sonakshi's conversation did not end. Zaheer said that a party was being held at Salman Khan's house on 23 June 2017. Many of Salman's friends had reached there. Sonakshi also attended that party.
Till that time Zaheer and Sonakshi did not know each other at all. They had an interaction during the party. After this, they talked for hours and got to know each other. After this one meeting, the closeness between them started increasing.
All the guests left but the conversation did not end
Zaheer Iqbal while talking to Bombay Times said- Neither I knew Sonakshi nor she knew me. Salman bhai had organized a party at his home on the occasion of the premiere of his film Tubelight. Many of Salman bhai's friends had come there. I too had come with my friends. I did not know Sonakshi till that day, well she too did not know anything about me.
It was the night of 23 June 2017. Sonakshi and I met for the first time and we talked for about 5 hours in the first meeting. We were so engrossed in the conversation that we did not even realize when all the guests left.
Sonakshi and Zaheer started meeting after that day
Zaheer said that that moment was very magical for him. After this, both of them started meeting frequently. The closeness between them increased and finally they got married last month.
Salman and Zaheer's fathers are best friends
Dainik Bhaskar had spoken to Zaheer Iqbal's makeup artist Raju Nag at the time of the wedding. He had talked about the bonding between Zaheer's family and Salman. He had said- Zaheer's father and Salman bhai are very good friends. When Zaheer's first film was about to release, Salman bhai had sent me to him to do his makeup. From that time onwards, I had a very good relationship with Zaheer.
Zaheer Iqbal is one and a half years younger than Sonakshi. He was born on 10 December 1988. His father's name is Iqbal Ratnasi. Iqbal Ratnasi is a big bullion trader by profession. He and Salman are very old and close friends.
It was Salman who launched Zaheer in the industry in 2019 through the film 'The Notebook'. However, this film flopped. Earlier, Salman had given him a chance as an assistant director in his 2014 release film 'Jai Ho'.
