Vivek was learning to earn money from the age of 10: He said, 'At the age when kids play, my father gave me business training, I learned acting later'

Vivek Oberoi worked in many films but his Bollywood career did not reach the heights that were expected. After this, Vivek focused on business instead of films and he is quite successful in it.

In an interview, Vivek has said that he started getting attracted towards business from the age of 10. His father Suresh Oberoi also trained him to become an entrepreneur before training him in acting.

Vivek said in an interview to Aaj Tak, when there was summer vacation in my school, my father used to bring some goods which I was given the task of selling. These goods could be anything like electronic goods, perfume or anything. He used to tell me that this is goods worth 2000 rupees. How much will you take from this? I used to take goods worth thousand rupees from that. Whatever profit I made by selling these, I used to keep it, but I had to give thousand rupees for the goods to my father. I was only 10 years old then.

Vivek further said, 'I used to think that if I go to sell goods on a cycle, how much money will I save? If I go to sell goods by auto, how much will it cost. These questions started coming to my mind due to this training. My father kept giving me this task till the age of 15-16 years. At that age when children are playing and I was learning to earn money. All this was possible because of my father. After the age of 15, I never took anything from my father except blessings.'
