Vidya Balan had rejected 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2': She said – she could not ruin the image of the first film, did not take the risk

The first film of 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' franchise was released in 2007 and since then there is a lot of craze among the audience for it. Vidya Balan and Akshay Kumar worked in this film.

When Bhushan Kumar thought of making 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', he offered the role to Vidya Balan, but Vidya refused. She said that she was afraid that she would not be able to repeat the success of the first film.

During an event, producer Bhushan Kumar said, 'I had approached Vidya ji for 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', but she refused. Then at the time of trailer launch, requested to at least be a part of the trailer. She posted the trailer, liked the film and promised that she would be a part of the third film.

Regarding this, Vidya said, 'I was very scared because Bhool Bhulaiyaa 1 has given me a lot… I said, 'If I mess up, it will all be ruined.'

Now Vidya is again joining 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'. She told, 'I wanted to work in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, but was afraid. I told Anees Bhai that he cannot take this risk. But when the offer for the third part came, I liked the script and things got better.

The actress further said, 'Karthik was also in it, I also liked Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. And Madhuri Dixit was also there. I gathered courage and had fun. Anees Bhai is the king of entertainment, working with him was magical.

The film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' will be released on Diwali on 1st November.
