In Bihar, the fourth phase of voting is being held on May 13 in five constituencies namely Darbhanga, Ujiarpur, Samastipur, Begusarai and Munger. This includes some veteran candidates, while others are entering the political fray for the first time. The matches in all these constituencies are expected to be colorful.

Voting will be held in seven phases for 40 constituencies in Bihar, out of which voting has been completed in 14 constituencies so far. From the beginning, it has been seen that the NDA and India Aghadi have been fighting each other in this state. Union minister and BJP firebrand leader Giriraj Singh is once again trying his luck from Begusarai constituency. He will fight against Awadhesh Kumar Rai of CPI(M). As there is a large section of voters who believe in CPI(M) in this constituency, Singh will have to put in effort to win. Another Union Minister of State Nityanand Rai has been given ticket by BJP from Ujiarpur.

A few days ago Union Home Minister Amit Shah had referred to him as Bada Aadmi in a public meeting. Therefore, Shah has hinted that if he wins this time, he will be given more responsibility at the Centre. He will be pitted against former minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD)'s Alok Mehta. Mehta is considered to be close to Lalu Prasad Yadav. Rai has won the Lok Sabha elections from Ujiarpur twice in a row and this time he is hoping for a hat-trick. BJP has fielded MP Gopalji Thakur from Darbhanga constituency. He is fighting against RJD leader and former minister Lalit Yadav. It is predicted that this fight will be close.

Colorful match in Samastipur

Senior minister Ashok Chaudhary's daughter Shambavi Chaudhary is trying her luck from Samastipur constituency. He has been nominated by Ram Vilas Paswan faction of Lok Jan Shakti Party. JDU minister Maheshwar Hazari will be pitted against Chiranjeev Sunny Hazari. Interestingly, these two candidates have entered the election fray for the first time. Maheshwar Hazari's attack on the public meeting held by JDU surveyor and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is likely to be a sign before the storm. So who will win here, entire Bihar is watching.

Former JDU president Rajeev Ranjan Singh will contest against RJD's Baahubali leader Ashok Mahato's wife Anita Devi from Munger constituency. Due to his criminal background, Mahato is feared in this constituency. This time BJP from Bihar
Good performance is expected. Accordingly, two campaign meetings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been held recently at Munger and Darbhanga. Both these meetings received a resounding response.
