Veteran actress Sulakshana and Vijayta Pandit's sister Sandhya Pandit went missing in 2012. Her skeleton was found about a month later. Her son Raghuveer was arrested in this case. However, later the court acquitted her son of all charges.
In a recent interview to Lehran Retro, Vijayta talked about her sister's murder. She also said that even today her elder sister Sulakshana is not aware of Sandhya's death.

Vijayta said- she was happy with her marriage, but she doesn't know what happened
Vijayta said, 'She (Sandhya) was very happy with her marriage. She lived here in Mumbai. But I don't know what happened. We couldn't even find her. We only found her skeleton.
Earlier her family members had said that she had disappeared somewhere. After getting this news, I and my brothers Jatin-Lalit searched for her everywhere. Then after some time we found her skeleton from many places.
Sulakshana is unaware of Sandhya's death
Vijayta further said, 'I am revealing this for the first time that Sulakshana ji is still unaware of Sandhya's death. If she comes to know the truth, she will die immediately. Whenever Sulakshana ji asks us about Sandhya, we tell her that she is in Indore and is very happy.
Sulakshana ji thinks that Sandhya is alive. She asks me to send my love to our sister as she does not use mobile. I have to continue this drama further.
Vijayta is the sister of music composer Jatin-Lalit Pandit.
