Uttarakhand accident Relief announced from Prime Minister's Fund to relatives of victims of Rudraprayag Tempo Traveler accident









Leader Online Desk: A Tempo Traveler carrying 23 pilgrims on Char Dham Yatra plunged into Alaknanda river near Badrinath Highway in Rudraprayag. In this, 12 people died, while 14 people were injured. The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) has informed that the pilgrims in the accident have been given financial assistance from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (Uttarakhand accident).

Tempo Traveler was traveling from Noida in Uttar Pradesh towards Rudraprayag when it plunged into a 150 to 200 meters deep gorge when the accident took place. The central government has announced an aid of Rs 2 lakh each to the relatives of the deceased pilgrims in this accident, and Rs 50 thousand each to the injured. This help has been given from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (Uttarakhand accident).
