US Campus Protests: Massive crackdown on pro-Palestinian students at Columbia University









Leaders Online Desk: Police have fired tear gas to disperse the pro-Palestinian protestors (Columbia Protests) in the prestigious Hamilton Hall building at Columbia University in the US. The protesters occupied the building for 20 hours. Police in New York City have arrested several protesters who have entered the campus.

Pro-Palestinian students (Columbia Protests) are demonstrating at colleges across America. Students have been protesting in the university premises for many days. Police are repeatedly urging students to vacate the campus. Columbia University has begun suspending students. Protesters at the University of Texas have been arrested by the police.

A situation of confusion has arisen in Columbia University and the police fired tear gas on the protesters occupying the building (Columbia Protests). This movement, which started from Columbia University, has spread to many universities in the United States. Thousands of students are demanding action against Israel. Hundreds of students have been arrested by the police so far.

Since the mass arrest of pro-Palestinian protesters at Columbia University on April 18, more than 1,000 protesters have been arrested on campuses in Texas, Utah, Virginia, North Carolina, New Mexico, Connecticut, Louisiana, California, and New Jersey.
