Leaders Online: A gangster in Uttar Pradesh's Badaun allegedly killed two children living in the neighborhood and seriously injured another, police said on Tuesday. Later Nabhik died in an encounter with the police. This incident took place in Baba Colony under Mandi Samiti Police Station. The said accused entered the neighbor's house and cut the throats of two brothers aged 11 and 6 with a razor, while injured the third child. (UP Badaun Double Murder)
The name of the accused is Sajid (age 22) and he killed both the children and fled from the spot. The Uttar Pradesh Police launched a manhunt for him and Sajid was killed in an encounter. According to locals, the accused had several arguments with his neighbor Vinod Kumar's family. When Sajid entered the house, the wife of Vinod Kumar, who runs the salon, was alone in the house with her three children.
According to their neighbours, accused Sajid came to Vinod's house and assaulted his children Ayush, Piyush and Honey. The children's mother was downstairs in the saloon. Hearing the screams of the children, people rushed upstairs. But the accused had escaped by then.
Police rushed to the spot. But the enraged locals resisted taking possession of the body. Ambulances that came to collect the body were sent back by the relatives. A heavy police presence was then deployed after tension erupted in the area, after which the bodies of the children were sent for post-mortem.
Badayu District Magistrate Manoj Kumar said that the police got information about the incident. But then the residents got angry. Meanwhile, Bareilly Inspector General of Police Rakesh Kumar said that the accused tried to escape. Meanwhile, he opened fire on the police. But he was killed in retaliatory firing by the police.
“After the police reached the spot, the accused tried to run away. The accused also fired at the police. Due to this, the accused died on the spot in the retaliatory firing. The age of the said accused is between 25 to 30.” Rakesh Kumar said.

He attacked and killed both the boys. He then came down, where the crowd tried to arrest him. But he escaped. Police teams started action as soon as they realized that the accused had fled. The accused opened fire on the police and was retaliated. Weapons and a revolver have been seized from him. The accused's brother Javed is also named in the FIR.
