New Delhi, Leading News Service: The Congress central leadership has given a message to the state leaders that the upcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra will be contested under the name of Mahavikas Aghadi and Uddhav Thackeray will be the leader of the Aghadi. Sources said that Saburi has also been advised not to make statements that the alliance will be disrupted in the upcoming legislative assembly elections.

Nana Patole had stated that when he tried to contact Uddhav Thackeray to discuss seat allocation in the Legislative Council elections, he could not be contacted. After that, Shiv Sena also responded to it. Therefore, it was seen that there was a difference between Congress and Shiv Sena Thackeray group.

However, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge recently held talks with Shiv Sena Thackeray faction chief Uddhav Thackeray and NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) president Sharad Pawar regarding the Legislative Council elections. Kharge then informed the state president of Congress Nana Patole about this discussion. Sources explained that Kharge instructed Patole to accept the leadership of Uddhav Thackeray in the Mahavikas Aghadi and start working for the assembly elections.
