Udayanraj got BJP ticket from Satara leader

New Delhi; Leading News Service: After a long wait, BJP has finally announced Udayanraje Bhosale as candidate from Satara for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The rift behind this long wait was whether this seat would remain with the BJP or go to the NCP (Ajit Pawar) in the Grand Alliance. Tidha is finally out. On Tuesday, BJP announced the twelfth list of candidates. In this list there are names of seven candidates including Udayanraj from Satara in Maharashtra. Udayan Rajen will fight against Shashikant Shinde of NCP Sharad Pawar group.

The remaining candidates in the twelfth list are for West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab. Udayanraje Bhosale's name was not included in the two-three lists of BJP candidates announced earlier. Against this backdrop, Udayanraje Bhosale had camped in Delhi. After that, Devendra Fadnavis and Udayanraj met in Delhi. After a long time, the name of Udayanaraje Bhosale was announced.
During the 2019 Lok Sabha, the Satara Lok Sabha was contested by a united NCP. A year ago there was a split in the NCP. Sharad Pawar group with Mahavikas Aghadi and Ajit Pawar group with Mahayuti participated in two alliances. The Sharad Pawar group won the seat of Satara from Mahavikas Aghadi. But the Ajit Pawar group could not get this seat under the Grand Alliance. It is said that the announcement of this seat has been delayed due to a long discussion on whether the seat of Satara should go to the BJP or the NCP.
