Leader Online Desk: Two terrorists were killed in an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Kulgam in Jammu and Kashmir today (7th). Security forces had launched a cordon and search operation in Redwani village of Kulgam late on Monday night after receiving information about the presence of terrorists in the area.

The search operation has been intensified from Surankot to Jaranwali Gali and heavy security has been deployed in the area. Terrorists had targeted an Air Force convoy on Saturday (4th). Indian Air Force officer Vicky Pahde was martyred in this attack while four other soldiers were injured. It is not yet known whether these terrorists were the ones who opened fire on the air force convoy.
