TV actor Nitin Chauhan passed away on 7 November. The exact reason for the death of Nitin, who was a part of many popular TV shows like Crime Patrol, Savdhaan India and Tera Yaar Hoon Main, could not be revealed, however now police officials say that the actor has committed suicide.
In a recent Aaj Tak report quoting police officers, it has been said that Nitin was in depression. He was also taking medicines. He had no work for a long time, due to which he was worried. 35 year old actor Nitin Chauhan was living with his wife and daughter in an apartment located in Yashodham area. The wife had gone to the garden with her daughter on Thursday evening. When she returned home, Nitin did not open the door. When the door was closed, the wife raised an alarm and called the people of the neighborhood. When the door was broken, it was seen that Nitin was hanging from the fan.
Nitin belongs to Aligarh. The family reached Mumbai after hearing the news of his death on 7 November. His mortal remains were taken to Aligarh for the last rites.
Wave of mourning in TV industry due to Nitin's demise
After Nitin's demise, his co-contestant in Splitsvilla 5, Ali Goni said in an interview to the media, I am in shock. Although we were not in touch for the last 13 years, someone's death is very sad.
TV actress Vibhuti Thakur has shared an emotional post for Nitin as soon as he got the news of his death. He has written, may your soul rest in peace. I wish you had the strength to face every difficulty. I wish you were as strong mentally as your body.

Nitin Chauhan became famous by becoming the winner of the reality show Dadagiri 2. Further, he made his acting debut in Doordarshan's TV show Zindagi.com. After this, he became a part of MTV Splitsvilla Season 5 in 2012, in which he participated with Ali Goni and Paras Chhabra. Nitin was the runner-up of the show, defeating Ali Goni, while the winner was Paras Chhabra.
Nitin Chauhan got a lot of popularity from Splitsvilla-5. After this, he was a part of TV shows like Crime Patrol, Gumrah, Friends Condition Apply, Savdhaan India. He was last seen in the TV show Tera Yaar Hoon Main.
If reports are to be believed, Nitin Chauhan was going to celebrate his 36th birthday soon. However, he died just a week before this.
