Leader Online Desk : Election Commission has today uploaded the new data of Electoral Bonds (Electoral Bonds) issued in sealed cover by the Supreme Court on its website. The data also shows how much money various parties have collected from electoral bonds. Parties like Congress, Samajwadi Party, AIADMK, National Conference (NC) and others received donations through electoral bonds.
BJP tops, party holds electoral bonds worth Rs 6,986.5 crore
Electoral Blocks by Party: BJP: Rs 6,986.5 crore, Trinamool Congress: Rs 1,397 crore, Congress: Rs 1,334.35 crore, BRS Rs 1,322 crore, Biju Janata Dal: Rs 994.5 crore, YSR Congress: Rs 442.8 crore, Telugu Desam Party Rs 181.35 crore, Samajwadi Party Rs 14.05 crore. Rs. Etc. Information about election bonds of other parties has also been uploaded on the website. These details are believed to relate to the period prior to 12 April 2019. The details of election bans after this date were made public by the poll panel last week. These figures have been revealed as per the order of the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court had given directions to SBI in the case of electoral bonds
