The trailer of the documentary series 'Angry Young Man' based on Bollywood's most famous script writers Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar was released on Tuesday.
It was released at an event held at Taj Lands End in Mumbai. On this occasion, Salim-Javed himself and his entire family including his children Salman Khan, Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar were present.
Salim and Javed reached the trailer launch event.
It was good that both of them did not act
At the event, Salman said, 'Ever since I was conscious, I have known only Salim-Javed. These two are the most expensive writers till date and still are. It is good that these two did not act, otherwise think what would have happened if they had written for themselves.'
At the event, Salman also revealed that actor Manoj Kumar did not give credit to Salim-Javed for the film 'Kranti'.
Before Salim and Javed reached the stage, Salman shared his experiences regarding this documentary.
Javed Akhtar requested Salim Khan to write the film
Javed Akhtar revealed that he has requested Salim Khan and now he is going to write a film once again. Even at that time he was the most expensive and now there is no point in talking about it.
On this occasion, as long as Salman's father Salim Khan remained seated on the stage, Salman remained standing behind him.
Salman told his favourite dialogue- I have a mother
All the people present at the event spoke their favourite dialogues written by Salim-Javed. On this occasion, Salman said that his favourite dialogue is- 'Mere paas maa hai, woh bhi do..' In the event, Javed sahab also made many interesting revelations about Salman and Arbaaz's childhood.

Salman said in the trailer- I am nervous for the first time
The trailer of the released series shows the heart touching and inspiring story of Salim-Javed. This 2 minute 40 second trailer starts with Salman Khan's dialogue in which he says that I have done interviews till date but I am nervous for the first time. In the trailer, Salim-Javed are also seen sharing many stories related to themselves.
Both Salman and Farhan shared their stories in the trailer.
From Amitabh to Hrithik, everyone shared stories
Apart from this, many other celebs including Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Shatrughan Sinha and Hrithik Roshan were also seen. The trailer also includes many rare old footage of Salim-Javed, which shows their personal life, friendship and their creativity in the 24 films they did together.
Rare videos and photos related to Salim and Javed were also shown in this trailer.
Debutante Namrata Rao directed
'Angry Young Man' is jointly produced by Salman Khan Films, Excel Media and Entertainment and Tiger Baby. Its executive producers include big names like Salma Khan, Salman Khan, Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti. The series is directed by Namrata Rao, who will debut as a director with this. This 3-episode series will be released on Prime Video on August 20.

Salim-Javed are considered to be Bollywood's most hit writer duo. In the 1970s, the duo gave many hit films including 'Sholay', 'Zanjeer', 'Deewar', 'Yaadon Ki Baaraat' and 'Don'.
