There is no need to worry about the family: Nawazuddin said about Anurag Kashyap – he is very concerned about his health

After the single music video songs 'Baarish Ki Jaaye' and 'Yaar Ka Sataya Hua Hai', Nawazuddin Siddiqui's new music video 'Saiyaan Ki Bandook' has been released recently. Nawazuddin Siddiqui and singer Sonu Thukral talked to Dainik Bhaskar about this music video.

During the conversation, Nawazuddin Siddiqui talked about Anurag Kashyap's acting career. He said that Anurag acts in the films of those whom he cannot refuse. I am very concerned about his health. It is very important for me that he stays healthy.

When you got the offer for 'Saiya ki Bandook', how much time did it take you to say yes?

I have worked with B Praak and Johnny before. When you work together, a family-like atmosphere is created. When there is some work to be done in the family, there is no need to think. Johnny is the producer and lyricist of 'Saiyaan Ki Bandook'. B Praak is its music producer.

Now singer Sonu Thukral has also joined our family. I hope that whenever we work in the future, someone else will join our family. We have a huge contribution in increasing the population.

Sonu, what was your reaction when you were told that you were getting a chance to share the screen with Nawazuddin Siddiqui?

I consider myself lucky that I got a chance to work with Nawaz Bhai. I am a big fan of his. Sharing the screen with Nawaz Bhai was the most beautiful moment of my life. I had never imagined this.

Nawaz, tell me what was your experience during the shooting?

It has been a great experience. Director Arvinder Kharia made the atmosphere so comfortable that I did not even realize that I was shooting. You will not believe that I shot continuously for 23 hours. But I did not feel tired at all because the atmosphere was very good.

You used to meet Kamal Haasan a lot in the early days of your career. When did you meet him after he became a star?

When Kamal Haasan sir did films like 'Hey Ram' and 'Abhay', I was his Hindi dialogue coach. Whenever he came to Mumbai, we used to meet. When I started doing South films, I met Kamal sir at an award function. There I got the award for villain. That moment was very memorable for me.

What is the shooting atmosphere like in the South?

There is a very professional atmosphere in the South. Everything happens according to the time schedule there. Shooting starts on time and wraps up on time. Artists and technicians all reach the set on time.

Is work not done in a professional manner in Bollywood?

I don't know. I think there is a lot of pressure here.

Anurag Kashyap is very close to you. What would you like to say about his acting career?

People are making him act. That's why he is doing it. Earlier he was an actor in theatre. That's why acting is very easy for him. He refuses to act in many films. But he acts in the films of those for whom he cannot refuse.

Regarding his acting career, I would just like to say that he should stay healthy. It is very important for me that he stays healthy. I am very concerned about his health.

Do you feel that people's attitude towards him has changed after he got into acting?

I think that people who loved Anurag earlier, still love him as much today. The special thing about Anurag is that people who love him do so without any conditions. A talent like Anurag's is very rare. I am his well-wisher and like a brother. I always wish that he stays healthy and keeps doing everything. His fans are very concerned about his health.
