The incident of murder took place in Murla village under Ramgarhwa police station area of ​​East Champaran. There was a quarrel in the house over the drinking of liquor by a person named Bhagwan Das. After the fight, the wife went to the neighbor's house to escape from her husband. But accused Bhagwan Das had a fight with his daughter Rani due to drinking alcohol. After this the accused reached the peak of brutality. After killing the girl, her body was dug in the bedroom and buried in it.

The accused father put 4 kg of salt in the pit dug for the dead body so that the dead body could be decomposed early. Even after this, the cruel father slept in the same room for the whole night. He absconded in the morning after this. The girl was killed by hanging a noose around her neck.
The only crime of the dead queen was that she was preventing her drunken father from drinking. She used to object that her father used to force her mother to drink alcohol. The murder happened on Saturday.
