Rajkumar Rao has revealed that he was going to be a part of a film. All things were finalized, but later he was removed from the film. The film was given to a star kid in his place. However, that film was never released.
Rajkumar Rao is in the news these days with the film 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi'. This film will be released in theaters on May 31. Janhvi Kapoor is also with him in the film. This is the second film of both of them together. Earlier, both were seen in the 2021 film Roohi.
Rajkumar and Janhvi will be seen together on screen for the second time.
'I was fired from the film overnight'
Recently, Rajkumar Rao talked to Karan Johar, producer of the film 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi'. During this, he made many revelations about his acting journey. He said, 'I have also had to suffer the consequences of being an outsider. I got a movie. But then suddenly I was fired from that film overnight. Later that role of mine went to a star kid. I could not do anything but I was thinking in my mind that this had gone very wrong. Although that film was never made.
'People used to say that I didn't go to parties that's why I didn't get the role'
The actor further said, 'People used to say that I did not go to industry parties, that is why I did not get roles. I did not know in which party transactions for films took place. When I came to Mumbai, I was told that I should go to parties.'
Rajkumar entered the world of acting with the 2010 film Rann.
Even before this, Rajkumar Rao had mentioned this incident in an interview with Ranveer Allahabadia. When the host of the show asked whether he was removed from the film because of nepotism, Rajkumar agreed to it. He had mentioned that it was due to karma that the film was never made.
