There was firing at Salman Khan's house on April 14.
Anuj Thapan, accused of supplying weapons to those who fired at Salman Khan's house, committed suicide in the custody of Mumbai Police. He hanged himself with a sheet. Anuj was brought to the hospital in a very critical condition, where the doctors declared him dead.
Mumbai Crime Branch had detained Anuj (32) and Subhash Chander (37) from Punjab on April 25 in the firing case. Both had provided weapons for this incident. Both the accused are residents of Abohar, Punjab. Anuj, who attempted suicide, worked as a helper in a truck in the village.
The second accused is Subhash Kisan. Many cases are registered against both the accused in Punjab and Haryana. Both were working together with Lawrence Bishnoi for many years.
Vicky and Sagar had fired at Galaxy Apartment, Salman Khan's house.

Anuj and Subhash had delivered two pistols to boys named Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta in Panvel on March 15. With the help of these pistols, Vicky and Sagar had fired at Galaxy Apartment, Salman Khan's house. Vicky and Sagar were arrested from Bhuj in Gujarat, while Anuj and Subhash were arrested in Punjab.
MCOCA sections were imposed on 6 accused
MCOCA sections have been imposed against the accused in the firing case at Salman Khan's house. Apart from this, MCOCA has also been imposed on the main conspirators Anmol Bishwoi and Lawrence Bishnoi. MCOCA has been imposed on a total of 6 accused. With the imposition of MCOCA, the accused will no longer be able to get bail quickly. The minimum punishment under MCOCA is 5 years in jail.
