New Delhi, Leading News Service: Delhi BJP organized an event on Sunday (28th) to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi for awarding Bharat Ratna to former Bihar Chief Minister Karpuri Thakur. Delhi BJP State President Virendra Sachdeva, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, former Delhi BJP State President and BJP MP Manoj Tiwari and other leaders were present for the event. This program was organized in the background of Lok Sabha elections.
Former Chief Minister of Bihar Karpuri Thakur was honored with 'Bharat Ratna', the highest civilian honor of the Government of India. This program was organized to thank Prime Minister Modi on the occasion. Citizens living in Delhi of Bihar and Purvanchal region attended the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary thanked Prime Minister Modi. He said that the respect of the poor, Dalit and tribal communities has increased during the Modi government. Hence, the citizens of Purvanchal region living in the National Capital Region including Delhi will honor Prime Minister Modi and stay with him.” He expressed that belief. In this event, Delhi BJP State President Virendra Sachdeva and MP Manoj Tiwari also addressed the citizens present and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for awarding Bharat Ratna to Karpuri Thakur.
