New Delhi; News Agency: Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Gujarat along with Maharashtra recorded an average maximum temperature of 42 degrees Celsius on Saturday. Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and West Bengal experienced heat wave on Sunday. Odisha recorded an average maximum temperature of 45 degrees Celsius. Baripada district of Odisha recorded a temperature of 45.2 degree Celsius on Saturday as well as on Sunday.
According to weather experts, the situation will remain the same for the next three days. The maximum temperature in the capital Delhi on Sunday was around 38 degrees. Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sikkim, West Bengal, Odisha, Maharashtra, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala , Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Telangana states also received rain at some places.
