Actor Gurcharan Singh, who played the character of Sodhi in 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah', has been missing for the past several days. On April 22, he left for Mumbai from Delhi, after which no one got any news about him. Producer of the show 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' Asit Modi has talked about Gurucharan Singh. Asit Modi was surprised to hear the news of Gurucharan's disappearance.
According to India Today reports, Asit Modi said- This is a very sad and shocking news for me. Gurucharan loved his family very much. He fulfilled his full responsibilities towards his parents. Although, we did not have any personal bond, but as far as I know he was a very religious person. He left the show 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' during Covid, but even after that our relations remained good.
Expressing concern for Gurucharan Singh, Asit said – Gurucharan always met me with a smile. His disappearance is really surprising. I don't know how this happened. The matter is currently being investigated, so I hope we will definitely get some good news. I pray to God that he is safe and starts taking his phone calls soon.
Gurucharan Singh was about to get married
Initial investigation has revealed that the actor was going to get married soon. Not only this, he was also struggling with financial crisis.
Took out Rs 7,000 from ATM and then the phone switched off.
Police said that Gurucharan had withdrawn Rs 7,000 from the ATM on April 22, after which his phone was switched off. His last location was found just a few kilometers away from his house in Palam, Delhi.
On April 22, on his father's birthday, Gurucharan shared a video on his media account.
Police are scanning the CCTV around the house
Apart from this, the police have also got some CCTV footage from Palam area in which the actor is seen crossing the road with a bag.
Now the police is also scanning the remaining CCTVs located around his house, so that it can be known which route he had taken to reach Delhi Airport.
