T20 World Cup 2024: Canada's shocker also defeats Ireland


New York; News Agency: The season of shocking results in the T20 World Cup 2024 continues as Canada defeated Ireland by 12 runs in the Group 'A' match on Friday. Batting first, Canada scored 137 for 7. Chasing this challenge, the Irish batsmen went on a rampage. Their wickets fell at regular intervals. So they could not have a partnership. Kirton was caught for 49 runs in 35 balls with the help of 3 fours and 2 sixes. Barry McCarthy took two wickets in this over. Muvva (37) played till the end and took the team to 137 for 7.
