New Delhi, Leading News Service: Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh has raised the issue of the disappearance of the “Symbol Loading Unit” used in his Rajgad Lok Sabha constituency in Madhya Pradesh from the strong room. Digvijay Singh has approached the Supreme Court on Thursday (16th) as the investigation found that the Election Commission had shifted the “Symbol Loading Unit” to another place. The petition is likely to be heard tomorrow, Friday (17th).

Digvijaya Singh has alleged that the Rajgad administration shifted the “Symbol Loading Unit” (SLU) to the strong room in Guna instead of keeping it safe in Rajgad after the polling. As per the Supreme Court order, the Central Election Commission has issued instructions to all the states to keep the SLU safe in the strong room for 45 days. However, still the issue of shifting the SLU in Rajgarh to the neighboring Guna constituency has come up.

Congress spokesperson in Madhya Pradesh Vivek Tripathi has also demanded an inquiry into the disappearance of the SLU in Digvijay Singh's constituency. Tripathi has demanded that strict action should be taken against all these officials as the election officials have violated the order of the Supreme Court and the information about who is behind this should be brought forward.
