New Delhi, Leading News Service: The swearing-in ceremony of the new government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take place on June 8. Before that, a meeting of all NDA leaders and MPs will be held on June 7. After this meeting, a delegation including Narendra Modi will meet President Draupadi Murmu and formally claim power formation and after that the NDA government will be sworn in on June 8.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with some cabinet ministers will also be sworn in on June 8. Meanwhile, National President of NCP Ajit Pawar faction, who was absent from today's NDA meeting, Ajit Pawar will also attend the meeting on 7th.

How many ministers in Maharashtra?

As the NDA is coming to power for the third time, discussions have started in political circles about who will be nominated as Union Minister from Maharashtra. Although nothing has been decided in the BJP yet, reliable sources said that the constituent party NCP Ajit Pawar faction will get one cabinet ministership and Shiv Sena Shinde faction will get one.

According to sources, Chandrababu Naidu's party is hoping to get four cabinet ministerial posts, including the post of Lok Sabha Speaker, and is understood to have expressed disapproval of giving Amit Shah the post of Union Home Minister. Sources said that Nitish Kumar also expects that Samyukt Janata Dal should get four ministerial posts like Telugu Desam. BJP, however, is understood to be ready to give only two ministerial posts to both of them.
