Arvind Kejriwal's personal assistant Bibhav Kumar has been accused of assaulting Swati Maliwal on 13 Swati Maliwal shed tears during the hearing of Bibhav Kumar's bail application at Tis Hazari Court in Delhi today. The former chairperson of the Delhi Commission for Women told the Tis Hazari court that if Bibhav Kumar is granted bail, “my life and my family's life is in danger”. Meanwhile, Bibhav Kumar's judicial custody will end on Tuesday.

In today's hearing, Bibhav Kumar's lawyer argued, “It was all premeditated. I have been falsely accused to defame me for whatever reason. The drawing room (at Kejriwal's residence) where the assault is claimed to have taken place was not covered by any CCTV. That is why Swati Maliwal has claimed that she was beaten up at this place. He also claimed that this claim is being made because there is no CCTV there. After this, the court reserved its decision on Bibhav Kumar's bail application.
