Swara Bhaskar said on Sonakshi-Zaheer's interfaith marriage: Let them have children, there will be controversy over the name too, I too faced criticism for marrying a Muslim

Swara Bhaskar said that Sonakshi Sinha has chosen Zaheer Iqbal for herself, it is her personal choice. No one should have any objection to this. Both are adults, they can take their own decisions. Swara said these things on the questions being raised about Sonakshi's marriage in a different religion. Swara said that let them have children now, then there will be a dispute over their name too. We have already seen this dispute in the case of Saif and Kareena.

Swara said that she herself had to face a lot of criticism. People even compared her marriage to love jihad. Let us tell you, Swara married Samajwadi Party leader and activist Fahad Ahmed last year. Swara said that she does not understand why people of our country interfere so much in the lives of others.

Love Jihad is the biggest myth
Swara Bhaskar while talking to Connect Cine said- If there is anything that is the biggest myth of modern India, then it is love jihad. It is said that if a Hindu girl marries a Muslim boy, then it is love jihad. The same was said about me too. Many times such couples are even beaten up on the occasion of Valentine's Day.

Swara is always in the headlines for her political views. She is often seen speaking against the government. Because of this, many cases are filed against her.

Swara also reacted on the marriage of Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal. She said- At the time of my marriage also many 'experts' gave their opinion. However, I feel that it should be left to the couples to decide whom they want in their life.

Whether they get married, do Nikaah or have an Arya Samaj wedding, nobody else should be concerned about it. This is Sonakshi's life, Sonakshi and Zaheer have chosen each other. Both their families are also happy. Talking about this is nothing but a waste of time.

Swara said that all these things happen only in India and South Asian countries. People here like to interfere in the lives of others.

Swara surprised everyone by getting married suddenly last year
Swara married Fahad Ahmed in February 2023. Swara and Fahad met during a protest in 2019. Both were just friends at first, but gradually they grew closer. Swara has now also become the mother of a baby girl.
